An electrical and biomedical engineer with diverse experience, Rajani Subramanian of New Jersey began her career as a lead designer at GE Healthcare in Cleveland, Ohio. Her accomplishments in this role include leading electromagnetic modeling of various products, including the Head Neck Spine Coil and the 1.5 T UNO Posterior, Torso Array. New Jersey's Rajani Subramanian went on to become program and engineering manager with GE Healthcare, overseeing the temperature management product portfolio which brought in $15 million in annual revenue.
She was also in charge of a two-year project to correct issues with the product line to restore revenue. She has since taken on the position of senior managing engineer with a large healthcare firm in New York, where she oversees two product lines: Advia Chemistry and Centaur Immunoassay. Since joining Siemens Healthineers, she has helped turn around underperforming operations and taken on positions of increasing responsibility.
Ms Subramanian began her studies at the University of Mumbai, where she earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. Transitioning to the United States, she then completed two master of science degrees, one in biomedical engineering and the other in electrical engineering, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
