LINE TAXI is a fast-growing taxi-hailing service (3-year average active user growth of 150%) using the latest LINE Chatbot technology in the transportation industry.

  • Generate extra income with about 300+ trips per day during the COVID-19 pandemic, by creating a food delivery service within 5 days, to create a win-win situation.
  • Boost the overall rate of mobile payment usage by 80%, after launching the in-app automatic payment service with LINE Pay or a debit/credit card.
  • Responsible for developing the 30k DAU taxi requesting service and reward system with 2 talented frontend team members using React, Redux, Next.js, Socket.io, and styled-components.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and increase our customer agent productivity by building a useful admin portal that saves the customer service team nearly 1 day of work each week.
  • Evaluate and discuss the feasibility of requirements implementation with 7 team members including PM, UI, UX, and Backend to find the best solution, prioritize the tasks, and complete the requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Design Team to build internal shared UI components adhering to the Design Token, and Design System, maintain project design consistency, and prevent reinventing the wheel.
  • Setup ESLint, Prettier, and husky to establish coding style guidelines and ensure code quality, which significantly decreases the code review time.
  • Implement Cypress for End-to-End testing to cut down tedious and time-consuming manual testing and remarkably reduce the error crash rate in a production environment.
