SYNTEC Quality Engineer, June 2020 - present

Work content:
  • Quality problem analysis and improvement: Establish data flow from suppliers, collect data through SQL, use FineReport software to build monitoring dashboards, give immediate feedback and ask suppliers to improve, and use Minitab for SPC process control and statistical visualization.
  • Client application experiment planning and quality improvement: Execute the supplier yield improvement project, find out the true cause of the defect, and improve the product pass-through rate by 1% within three months.
  • Quality and engineering data analysis and improvement of production quality control process: use big data analysis to import product testing standards to effectively screen out high-risk defective products.
  • Manufacturing production quality problem handling and implementation of NPI process.
  • Participated in the 2021 Taiwan Continuous Improvement Competition, was responsible for data analysis, and published results on behalf of the company. The first time I participated, I won the highest honor of the Golden Tower One-Star Award.

FETC General Manager's Office Quality Management and Operations Audit Department Intern, May 2018 - July 2019

Work content:
  • Applied MS SQL to extract data from the database, and joined different forms to get specific user information.
  • Created a web-crawler that would scrape the weather data from the Central Weather Bureau, and then established QGIS project to combine the location with the weather for the next analysis.
  • Build machine learning models such as SVM, Random Forest, Neural Network to identify important variables that affect detection rate.
  • Developed the Neural Network + Genetic algorithm model, which can find the optimal set of important attributes, and ideally increase the detection rate by about 4% (89% to 93%).
  • Established the Association and Decision rule to explore the hidden relationship between the variables of the data.
