  1. Utilized transgenic mice and gene editing techniques to develop the disease-related in vivo/in vitro models and to dissect the correlation between gene crosstalk and disease progression. 
  2.  Designed and Performed molecular biology experiments (luciferase assay, ChIP assay, FACS, WB, and qRT-PCR), histology analysis (IF, IHC, and H&E), and big data analysis (microarray and RNA-sequencing) to identify novel mechanisms in disease progression.

    • Prostate Cancer – collaborated with a urologist and performed animal experiments to identify the cross talk between immune response and tumor suppressor gene.
    • Colorectal Cancer and Squamous cell carcinoma ( graduate students mentor and leader) – supervised the project’s progress, experimental design, and trained and honed graduate students’ presentational capacity. 
Developmental Biology:
