An experienced financial services professional who has performed tax services with Mitchell Tax Professionals since 2008, Alvina Mitchell formerly served nine years in operations at Security Pacific National Bank in the Los Angeles suburb of Hawthorne, California. In addition to supervising all branch tellers, she worked in the Security Pacific Notes Department and became the first African American in the branch’s history to underwrite for the Security Pacific Loan Department. Alvina Mitchell subsequently relocated to Lancaster, California, where she earned a double associate’s degree in math and science at Antelope Valley Community College. 


Alvina Mitchell’s professional and personal accomplishments include serving as the key player on the development of her own FHA and HUD program. She has also accepted two invitations to the White House and received an award from president George W. Bush. 


In her free time, she enjoys roller-skating at various local rinks. She is also the owner of a 2004 Road King, and has been riding Harley Davidson motorcycles for more than 25 years.
