Information Technology and Software Sales Executive

A seasoned sales professional, Amir Achourie, serves as a regional sales manager at Splunk in Los Angeles, California, where he helps companies identify IT deficiencies and track down security threats derived from software and applications. Since joining the company in 2020, he has successfully executed complex seven-figure deals with executive stakeholders across various industries. Amir Achourie achieved a 100 percent sales quota for the fiscal year of 2020 and 240 percent in 2021, earning him to qualify for President’s Club.

Before working at Splunk, Amir Achourie served as a vice president of sales at FactoryFour. He was responsible for hiring and setting up global sales teams across North America and Europe, implementing outbound sales training, and designing a go-to-market sales strategy for the company. He met with major clients, monitored the market and competition, and created detailed sales projections. In one year, he increased the company’s sales by more than 350 percent and average transaction volume by 300 percent. He also took on four Fortune 100 companies for the company for the first time.

Amir Achourie was a co-founder of PatSnap's western operations and served as vice president of sales for seven years. He oversaw the company’s sales department and profit and loss and budgeting for North American and European markets. He also played a pivotal role in growing the company’s annual recurring revenue from $0 to more than $50 million and built a team of account executives, sales managers, sales development representatives, and operational staff across North America and Europe.

Before moving to Los Angeles, Amir Achourie worked as an account executive at Informa PLC in London. He was responsible for new business sales execution, selling software-as-a-service to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in North America and Europe. He was also involved in new product development, licensing, regulatory matters, and mergers and acquisition transactions.

Amir Achourie graduated with a first class honors degree in business economics from Middlesex University in London. He was later invited as a guest lecturer at the university, where he discussed entrepreneurship and international business principles in front of 400 students. Outside of work, he enjoys playing football, attending live Formula 1 races, traveling, and hiking.
