A longtime resident of greater Closter, NJ, Amy Goldenberg holds a BS in broadcast and film from Boston University, where she concentrated in psychology and television/film production. After a successful career in the pharmaceutical field, she returned to school at age 42 to complete her JD at the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. An honors scholar at Touro, Amy Goldenberg participated in student organizations such as moot court and the Student Bar Association.
Ms. Goldenberg accrued significant legal experience as a student and since graduating in 2016. Currently a law clerk for New Jersey Superior Court Judge Dennis F. Carey III in the Civil Division, she previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Russell J. Passamano of the court’s Family Division and as a clinical intern with Brooklyn Defender Services, among other internships and clerkships.
Ms. Goldenberg has also gained experience through volunteer work with organizations in the Closter, NJ, area, including the Bergen County Office of the Public Defender and Essex-Newark Legal Services. A member of the Bergen Bar Association, she has passed the bar exam and is awaiting admission to practice in New York and New Jersey.
