As part of the strategic marketing team, my core responsiblity was managing the projects to develop and register crop protection products in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. I collaborated in planning long-term strategies for the current and future product portfolio. My main achivements were:

  • Conceiving a communication system that reduced project tracking time in 50%
  • Implementing best project management practices in all the projects
  • Co-creating an evaluation method that allowed to choose the projects that best fit the company's strategic goals
  • Developing a GE-McKinsey matrix tool to evaluate the current product portfolio in Mexico (~40 products)

  • Assisting in trial setup and followup
  • Scouting beneficial insects and pests in IPM trials
  • Carrying out routine tasks such as pesticide inventory and greenhouse maintenance activities
