Anthony Snoddy

Award-Winning Entrepreneur in Manufacturing

The president of Green Moxie, LLC, Anthony Snoddy prepared for his career in manufacturing by earning a bachelor of science in industrial technology from Eastern Michigan University. Upon graduating, Anthony Snoddy became a manager at General Motors, where he worked in the manufacturing and corporate environment of multiple divisions, including General Motors Corporate Procurement. He was a manager with General Motors for 19 years.

In 1992, Anthony Snoddy founded his first company, Exemplar Manufacturing Company, a first-tier manufacturer to General Motors, Chrysler, and Ford. Under his guidance, the company produced metal fasteners and mechanical and electrical assemblies, ultimately becoming a full-service supplier of vehicle electrical wiring systems. He went on to establish Green Moxie in 2003. Green Moxie produces a variety of geotextiles made primarily from recycled plastic content. Products include construction site markers, silt fencing, and fence T-posts.

For his work, Anthony Snoddy has received significant recognition. He was honored by the Eastern Michigan University Business School Hall of Fame, achieved a high ranking on the Black Enterprise 100 Minority-Owned Businesses list, and was named Supplier of the Year by the Michigan Minority Business Supplier Council.
