Antoine Chaya
Experienced in Managing IT Operations
As senior director of strategic accounts in the Redwood Shores, California, offices of the Oracle Corporation, Antoine Chaya draws on two decades of experience in the information technology sector. Prior to assuming his current position, which he has held since 2006, Antoine Chaya served for nine years as director of consulting in Oracle’s Atlanta offices. For four of those years, he maintained additional responsibilities as managing partner of Global Crown Capital, a San Francisco-based financial services firm.
Antoine Chaya holds a BS in civil engineering from the American University of Beirut and both an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting and a Ph.D. in information technology management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Concurrent to earning his Ph.D., he taught students as an instructor in Georgia Tech’s College of Management.
During this time, Antoine Chaya coauthored “Analyzing Cost-Effectiveness of Organizations: The Impact of IT Spending,” which was published in the Journal of Management Information Systems. In addition, he cowrote “Exploring the Relationship between IT Investments and Organizational Performance: Preliminary Empirical Evidence,” which he presented with his coauthor at the 26th Annual Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences.
