Asher Zamir

Asher Zamir is a prominent real estate executive. He was born in Iran and is a citizen of the United States. Asher Zamir holds an undergraduate degree from the Queens College. Also, he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business Administration from the New York University.

He founded his privately-held real estate firm Zamir Equities in 2003. He is the current company’s CEO and oversees all its asset management and portfolio holdings.

Some of the newly acquired properties of Asher Zamir include 587 Fifth Avenue, Penncom Plaza, and several office buildings throughout the United States. Moreover, he also has ownership interests in several properties overseas.


Since 1990, Asher Zamir has been interested in real estate. During the 90’s, he has acquired different properties in New York City and outside. He predicted that investing in Downtown Manhattan will pay off in the future, and has acquired properties there when the price per square foot to buy was about $15 or $20.

Prior to founding Zamir Equities, Asher Zamir has been running a fine jewels and diamonds manufacturing and distribution company called DIA-DEB International, Inc. The company has been operating for the past 40 years and has facilities in New York, Tel Aviv, and Bombay.
