Benjamin Barrone

An experienced financial services professional, Benjamin Barrone holds a bachelor of business administration from Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and a master of science in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). While attending WMU, Benjamin Barrone completed tax season internships with Cole & Company in Portage, Michigan, and Ernst & Young in Detroit.


After graduating from UIC in 2008, Benjamin Barrone found employment as an audit staff member with the Chicago offices of business advisory firm Plante Moran. He subsequently became a senior accountant with LaSalle Investment Management, a regional controller with Levy Restaurants, and an accounting consultant with Components Company Incorporated.


Mr. Barrone has served as an accounting manager with Chicago’s Vital Proteins since January 2017. Responsible for all company accounting and finance functions, he works with senior leadership and supply chain management to perform activities that range from financial reporting and budgeting to economic forecasting and product costing.
