Dr. Plant – 2017.05-Present

Dr. plant (植醫爸) is a chatbot aims to solve plant diseases and pests problems confronted by everyone, from professional farmers to amateur gardeners. By using open data supported by agriculture committee, we promise to provide correct information through a user-friendly interface. This service got a quality award in 2017 Open Data Contest held by industrial development bureau, ministry of economic affairs @Taiwan.

Summer intern, Institute of Molecular Biology, Academia Sinica – 2016.07-2016.08

I joined plant molecular biology lab which is owned by Tsay, Yi-Fang. The main research topic of the lab is about relationship between plant and nitrogen. Revealing the underlying mechanism would shed light on increasing crop yield and reducing fertilizer usage.

Wu Sa Tsai – 2016.07-2016.08

Wu Sa Tsai (屋啥菜) is a social platform designed for rooftop gardening participants. Using Laravel and host on AWS. It integrates several open data to ease difficulties of urban farming. This service got a third place in Agrithon 2016 @Taiwan.

By designing a whole year course, I not only improved the knowledge about public address but also learned how to communicate with different people from different domain.

The internship let me established the basic about food production, from vegetable seedlings nursery to temperate fruit pruning.
