As senior director with Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting, Bo Kemp meets the needs of corporations and municipalities across the nation. With a focus on identifying opportunities for public private partnerships (P3) and setting in place smart growth and economic development pathways, Bo Kemp has experience in working with legacy and distressed cities to facilitate initiatives that improve infrastructure.

Among Mr. Kemp’s accomplishments has been enabling a P3 development centered on the Newark Prudential Center Arena. He has also facilitated a $100 million Gary/Chicago International Airport investment and a clean technology initiative targeting urban blight.

Mr. Kemp gained early financial experience in the 1990s as a member of Morgan Stanley and served as executive vice president with Vanguarde Media from 1999 to 2004. He guided financing and acquisitions, as well as consumer marketing efforts, for a number of popular consumer magazines aimed at the urban markets, including Savoy to Heart & Soul.

A respected presence in his field, Bo Kemp has authored chapters in books on municipal partnerships with academic institutions. He has also written articles on economic development and opportunity zones.
