Thesis: Probing structural changes and cell dynamics in hair follicle catagen

Advisor: Prof. Song-Jan, Lin

  • Optimization of the regression hair follicle sample harvest and tissue clearing models in mice.
  • Identify the hair follicle progress during regression by sequencing live image data.
  • Discover that the massive apoptotic events were not the main factor that triggered the hair follicle regression. 

Operated the microscope system & image processing software

  • Accelerated image processing by learning the automatic scripts in FIJI, image processing software.
