Bret Cartwright

Experienced Forex Trader and Executive Coach

American Fork High School alumnus Bret Cartwright obtained an associate's degree in business management from Utah Valley University. He has since garnered nearly two decades of day trading experience, with expertise in the foreign exchange market (forex). Known as "forexslayer" on YouTube and Facebook, Bret Cartwright trades all major global currency pairs, as well as commodities such as gold, silver, and oil. His success as a day trader is highlighted by consecutive trading competition victories in 2017 and 2018.

Complementing his work as a forex day trader, Bret Cartwright is an executive forex coach at Day Trade University in Lehi, Utah. He has served in this capacity since 2014, coaching more than 500 students via regular online sessions and nightly webinars. He also hosts more intense, 2-day boot camp style sessions for clients further along in their training.

Mr. Cartwright attends between one and two trading conventions per year and delivered a presentation on his pending order strategy at the 2017 Las Vegas Trading Convention. Aside from his professional endeavors, Bret is an avid golfer, he also enjoys water-based recreation activities such as waterskiing and surfing, and spends a lot of time at Lake Powell in Utah during the summer.
