Bruce Randall Watts Jr.

Experienced Financial Analyst

A graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Bruce Randall Watts, Jr., earned his bachelor of arts in American studies in 1990. He subsequently entered the financial services industry, serving tenures as an equity analyst with Freedom Capital Management, as well as a director and portfolio manager with Westfield Capital Management. Bruce Randall Watts, Jr.’s position with Westfield placed him in charge of over $500 million in small-cap and mid-cap (SMID) growth funds with a focus on the high-tech, telecommunications, and media sectors.

Mr. Watts most recently served as senior managing director at The Boston Company in Boston, Massachusetts. Continuing to concentrate on SMID equity, he expanded into the world of microcap stocks. He also oversaw the growth and development of the Dreyfus Founders Discovery Fund.

Outside of the financial services arena, Bruce Randall Watts, Jr., has a history of committee involvement with both the Perez Art Museum in Miami, Florida, and the Whitney Museum in New York City. He currently sits on the Whitney’s Film and Video Committee.
