Bryant Dowdell

Experienced Correction Officer in New York City

The recipient of a bachelor of science in business from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, Bryant Dowdell joined the Police Athletic League as assistant director in 1997. He spent seven years in this role, during which time he supervised educators and youth staff members for an after-school mentoring program at a Staten Island middle school. In addition to scheduling, payroll, and other managerial functions, Bryant Dowdell oversaw computer, music, and art classes in addition to basketball and flag football leagues.

Bryant Dowdell has worked as a correction officer with the NYC Department of Correction in 2004.
