A career financial analyst and investment researcher, Bufus Outlaw Jr is the CEO of BOE Securities Inc., a leading provider of equity research and brokerage execution services for global institutional clients. He established the firm in 1997 and built around it a culture of speed and continuous innovation, enabling his clients to quickly exploit niche opportunities. Prior to founding the firm, Bufus Outlaw Jr held research and financial analysis roles at various companies including Sturdivant & Company, Ryder Systems, and First Bank System.

Bufus Outlaw Jr was born and raised in South Philadelphia. A hall-of-fame high school athlete, he earned a football scholarship to Howard University in Washington, DC where he studied accounting while being a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He graduated in 1982, and two years later attended the University of Chicago to earn his MBA while serving as president of Black MBA and business manager for the Chicago Business Newspaper. Bufus Outlaw Jr holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, 63, and 87 licenses, and spent over 10 years working in finance before starting his own firm.

Bufus Outlaw Jr takes great pride in his accomplishments, as well as his role as a father. He still maintains his membership with the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. In his free time, Mr. Outlaw enjoys exploring new restaurants and supporting his home sports teams.
