Caitlin Franco serves as Executive Director of Equality Charter School, a middle school and high school in the Bronx, New York. Since founding the school in 2009, Caitlin Franco has turned the school into a leading New York middle school, where it is consistently ranked in the top three percent of the city's schools. Drawing on over a decade of teaching experience, Caitlin Franco has built an inclusive learning environment and utilized data-driven teaching strategies proven to produce exemplary academic achievement in its students. 

Prior to her current position, Ms. Franco served as an English and elective teacher at the Bronx Leadership Academy II. She previously taught at the Opportunity Charter School in New York, Tobin Elementary School in Boston, Massachusetts, and as a student teacher and leave replacement at the Smithtown Central School District. 

Caitlin began her post-secondary education at Stony Brook University, where she earned a BA in English Education and distinguished herself academically. Making the dean’s list every semester, she earned a scholarship to attend a year-long program at the University of Westminster in London, England, where she studied English Literature. Returning to the United States, she earned admission to Harvard University where she earned an M.ED in Educational Leadership.
