Carl Buhler served in the US Air Force for nearly three decades and is a retired Brigadier General. During his career, he worked in a variety of areas, such as logistics, aircraft maintenance, munitions, sustainment, modernization, and supply chain. He is a two-time major command director of logistics where he coordinated with other major commands, staff agencies, wings, and the Inspector General to improve readiness, sortie production, and sortie generation.
Carl also held positions, such as commander of the Ogden Air Logistics Complex at Hill Air Force Base (AFB) in Utah, and commander of the 78th Air Base Wing at Robins AFB in Georgia.
Carl Buhler completed graduate studies at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in national resource strategy and holds another advanced degree from the College of Naval Command and Staff in national security and strategic studies. He is also a member of the Logistics Officers Association, VFW, AFA, MOAA, and the American Legion.
