Carlos Mejia

18 Years of Experience with Options Group in New York 

A financial services professional, Carlos Mejia most recently spent 18 years as a managing partner with Options Group in New York. Responsible for the firm’s hedge fund practice in the United States, he hired and managed staff members, maintained client relationships, and developed marketing materials for the firm. Additionally, Carlos Mejia developed the New York company’s Candidate Management System and customer relations software system QuantMatch.

Before running Option Group’s hedge fund executive search practice, Carlos Mejia served as a shift supervisor with the North American Family Institute (NAFI), a residential and educational facility for Level 6 court committed adolescents. He joined the organization as a youth counselor, in which role he oversaw residents in daily activities such as school, recreation, and mealtime, in addition to participating in group therapy sessions and individual interventions. He remains involved with the organization as chairman of the funding committee.

He holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Massachusetts.
