Carlton James has worked in corporate communications in the Caribbean, Africa, and South America. He has focused largely on damage prevention and control, strategic planning, community engagement, and event management. In addition, he serves as a director of the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI), the leading bankerin Guyana. At the bank, he is chair of the Marketing Committee and oversees strategic planning of marketing initiatives to inform the public of new opportunities at the bank and maintain its positive brand image. In addition, Carlton James and his team oversee the marketing budget. GBTI is dedicated to driving growth and development in Guyana with a full range of banking products and services for consumers and corporate customers.
