Charles Lessin

Experienced Developer and Charity Gaming Consultant

Drawing upon nearly four decades of experience, Charles Lessin is a Richmond, Virginia-based residential real estate developer who serves as president of American Homecrafters. He has built more than 300 custom, single-family homes in Central Virginia since 1983 and generated in excess of $90 million in sales in that time. Charles Lessin concurrently serves as president of Pop's Bar and Grill, which is a 300-seat, sports-themed restaurant with more than 60 flat-screen TVs.

In addition, Charles Lessin is the founder and legislative director of the VA Charitable Bingo Association, through which he advocates for legislation in favor of charity gaming for the nearly 400 nonprofits licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia. He extends his knowledge in this area to other nonprofits nationwide through his role as president and managing director of the consulting firm B1 Technologies.

Mr. Lessin formerly served as president of the water cleanup and restoration company Quickdry. A longtime advocate for the Jewish community, he serves as president of The Jerusalem Connection and founded Camp Binyan Torah. He is also a former past president of Rudlin Torah Academy. He holds a bachelor's degree in religious studies and international relations from the University of Virginia.
