My name's Derrick, a college graduate from Yuan Ze University Department of Computer Science & Engineering. I'm currently seeking an opportunity to become a computer programmer.
Life in College:
During my days back in college, I was not only the best hitter of school's baseball team, but also a hard-working member of the Student Association of the Department of CSE. By organizing a great amount of events, I had learned how to cooperate with others efficiently. Those experiences made me a team-oriented person. Besides the experience of extracurricular events, I had participated several team projects, worked hard to express the creativity I had and to utilize the technique I had learned in class.
During my junior year in college, I started to work as an intern in Holy Stone Enterprise. My job was to develop and maintain applications for the factory of the company. After I graduated from college, I worked as a technician in hardware testing in Wiwynn Corporation. I've learned a lot of things from those working experiences: the process of developing a program, the I/O of database, how to debug and code tracing..... etc. However, none of those techniques I mentioned above that benefited me the most. The most important thing I had learned from work was the importance of teamwork and how to be responsible to our jobs, those are the keys to be a successful engineer.
Keep Learning and Become Better:
We are living in an era of digital information and high tech, technology has grown way faster than Moore's Law expected. I can't wait to join the revolution of technology, become not only a programmer, but also a creator seeking a way that makes the technology benefits everyone around the globe. To accomplish that, I should never be satisfied of what I've already learned or known and always remember to "Stay foolish, stay hungry".
