As vice president at GreenTree Financial Group, Inc., in Plantation, Florida, Robert Chris Cottone draws upon more than two decades of investment management experience to co-manage the firm's internal emerging growth fund. He also tracks legislative activities affecting securities issues and oversees the firm's capital markets policies and procedures. An active presence in the community, Robert Chris Cottone also leads several of GreenTree Financial Group, Inc.’s community awareness programs.

Outside of his responsibilities at GreenTree, Robert C. Cottone has written several newsletter articles on topics of particular interest to business owners and advisors. He has also delivered lectures for a range of professional organizations and regularly attends relevant industry events and conferences. These include the SeeThru Equity Microcap Investor Conference, Growth Capital Expo, Deal Flow SPAC Conference, and Aegis Capital Corp Healthcare and Technology Conference.

Robert C. Cottone is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and placed seventh in his graduating class on the Uniform CPA Examination.
