Autobiography

About me

        My name is Chris. I hold a Bachelor of business administration in International Business. I was born in South Africa and raised in Kinmen till grade 4, before moving to Taiwan to complete my primary school phase. Subsequently, I decided to move to South Africa to improve my English. By the end of 2014, I relocated to Taiwan to attend Soochow University, majoring in International Business. Living in different places has provided me with opportunities to grow and develop, both in my personality and understanding of individuals.

Education

        South Africa is a culturally diverse country, with 11 official languages including English, Zulu, Afrikaans, and Xhosa to name a few. Starting all over again in a new environment with new languages as a child was challenging. However, being in a foreign country compelled me to be independent and to handle pressures well.  I also pride myself on being a sociable person, which allows me to develop close interpersonal relationships with everyone.

With a positive attitude and sociable personality, when I returned to Taiwan to complete my degree, I decided to study International Business. My major in International Business has increased my knowledge of commerce and way of thinking.

Goals and Achievements

        My short-term goal is to improve my Spanish, as I firmly believe that languages form the fundamental prerequisites of International  Businesses. I enjoy trying new activities and taking on challenges and have endeavored   to develop fluency in Spanish in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

My long-term plans are to develop my technological skills and my understanding of the work environment. This will be done while carrying out the values of this company by being innovative and sincere in all aspects.

Future Expectancy

        Due to the influence of family, getting into the commercial field is what I really wish for. During university, I have chosen courses "Human Behavior", "International Human Resources Management", and "Workplace Service and Communication," to build up and expand the knowledge of "HUMAN." Meanwhile, language is important as well as the culture, to understand one’s language can get you to touch its culture. In the end, it will be an honor if I have the chance to work for your company and ready to contribute my skills and experience.
