Chris Liu

Quality Hospitalist Care for California Patients


Based in Vallejo, California, Dr. Chris Liu has practiced with Kaiser Permanente for nearly five years. As a physician, he provides medical floor patients with quality health care that spans the admission, care, and discharge phases of treatment. Chris Liu, MD, completed his doctor of medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and authored a paper on TGFB in mesothelial cells/endothelial cells during this time.


As a resident at the University of California, Irvine, from 2008 to 2011, Dr. Liu engaged with a number of local hospitals in providing patient-focused care. His efforts encompassed the creation of in-depth treatment plans and he also assisted interns in gaining advanced clinical skills.


Chris Liu, MD, has experience with Protein Design Labs in Newark, California, as a research assistant where he focused on designing monoclonal antibodies for use against cancer antigens. After harvesting the tumor cells of mice, he created hybridomas by fusing them with myeloma cells. A cytometry flow process was then employed by Dr. Liu in screening for effective cells.
