Based in Macon, MO, Dr. Donet Chris Main is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. He attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO, where he earned his D.O. degree and graduated in the top 20 percent of his class. Dr. Donet Chris Main then completed a traditional internship at Deaconess Medical Center in St Louis, MO.
In 1997, he began his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. This advanced training was completed at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis University Hospital, and Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.
Since 2001, Chris Main, D.O., has owned and managed Midwest Bone and Joint Center, P.C., in Macon, MO. He also owns The Center for Surgical Specialties, P.C. and Midwest Surgical Specialties, LLC. Additionally, he is a member of BoneDoc Destinations, LLC, and the President and managing member of BoneDoc Aviation, LLC, SkyNet Air Medical Transport LLC, and BoneDoc Mountain Properties, LLC. He belongs to the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and has been Board Certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2003. Dr Main regular participates in continuing medical education as a lecturer, surgical educator and participant.
