Christopher Bonavico

Long-term Investment Professional Christopher Bonavico 

A graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor of science in economics, Christopher Bonavico started his career as an internal consultant with Chase Manhattan. He joined Salomon Brothers in New York City as a research analyst, conducting financial modeling related to the telecommunications industry. Responsible for publishing reports and cultivating relationships with corporate clients, Christopher Bonavico helped Salomon Brothers become a leading equities research house and underwriter.

From 1993 to 2005, Chris Bonavico served as a portfolio manager and research analyst with Transamerica Investment Management in San Francisco. Focused on bottom-up equity investments, he identified companies with competitive dominance in areas with potential long-term growth. He later served as a portfolio manager with Delaware Investments, where he earned a Lipper award for a top-performing mutual fund.

Since 2014, Mr. Bonavico has served as a portfolio manager with Jackson Square Partners, an institutional asset management firm that works with private and institutional clients and holds more than $22 billion in assets under management.
