  My name is Josh Pai, and I am from Taipei. My parents encouraged me from a young age to work for the things that I wanted, and my parents are the reason why I have developed into a diligent hard worker! I graduated from the National Taipei University of Education’s Computer Science Department Graduate Institute, and usually pay attention to the trends of science and technology along with current affairs. I am highly curious about many things, and I am a willing problem solver as I enjoy self-learning and reading books.

   In addition to my studies, I also took time to work part-time at hotels. In addition to making money, I learned how to patiently interact with customers and how to work together with colleagues. As I have a great amount of interest in image processing and know that image processing will be a future trend for mobile phones, I chose to attend the National Taipei University of Education’s Computer Science Department Graduate Institute. The topic of my master's thesis is "The Implementation of Fingerprint Feature Capture and Recognition System." It mainly searches for fingerprint features and uses a variety of image processing algorithms to successfully establish a recognition system. 

  When I was on the job, I was mainly responsible for the DELL Desktop Project. At present, I have mainly experienced D11, D12, and D13 three generations of Desktop Project, I also learned many debugging methods when encountering Issues, example : 

1. Record the debug log to find out if the behavior is wrong.

2. It may be the side-effect of the new solution.

3. Comparing with the previous version of BIOS, whether the code change is wrong.

  I am also conscientious and responsible during the work period. This time I am seeking this position in your company, mainly because my future career goal is to become a better BIOS engineer and be able to lead the team independently. In order to get closer to my future career goals, I choose to send my resume to your company, hoping to get hired, and then continue to work for your company, cultivating and accumulating practical experience to help the company team solve technical problems. Combining the professional knowledge during the master class period and the past work experience in Wistron, I already have the professional knowledge of BIOS and the ability foundation of debug issue. I believe that I can bring practical value to your company faster and reduce the training time for your company. .
