Cindy Imperato

Cindy Imperato is immediate past Board Chair and current Co-Event Chair of Broward County Chapter’s of the American Red Cross. Her tenure as the new Chair of Board of Directors officially began on July 1, 2018. Cindy embodies the spirit of the Red Cross through her contributions to the welfare and quality of life of South Florida residents. In addition, she is on the Advisory Board of Broward County Crime Commission, Women in Distress and the PACE school for Girls. She’s the former President of the St. Thomas More Society of Broward County and serves on their Board of Directors.

Cindy Imperato received her B.S. in psychology and sociology from Virginia Tech in 1979 and her M.S. in criminology from Florida State University in 1980. She was awarded a J.D. from the Florida State University School of Law in 1988.

Currently, she’s a board member of the American Red Cross Broward County Chapter where she has served the community for the past seven years. In addition, she is on the Advisory Board of Broward County Crime Commission, Women in Distress and the PACE school for Girls. She’s the former President of the St. Thomas More Society of Broward County and serves on their Board of Directors.

Cindy Imperato retired from the Circuit Court Bench after 13 years of service in 2016. She was appointed in January 2003 by Governor Jeb Bush.
