A New York-based business executive, Clifford “Cliff” Corso has spent over three decades of leading financial services firms. As the chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Cutwater Asset Management from 1994 to 2015, Cliff Corso oversaw its strategic direction.
He also chaired the firm’s fixed income investment group. During this time, the company grew to manage $40 billion in assets. Clifford Corso subsequently left the firm to join New York-based Insight Investment, where he continues to serve as executive chairman.
Alongside lending his expertise in fixed income strategies, he handles strategic relationships. He focuses on institutional and government clients, among others. In addition to his daily duties, he is a voting member of several committees, with these focusing on corporate and real estate lending.
In these roles, Cliff Corso utilizes knowledge first developed during his time as a student. A Yale University graduate, he earned his bachelor of arts in economics in 1984. He also has a master of business administration in finance from Columbia University.
