Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement qualitative research for live-streaming entertainment platforms
  • In-house position will develop a fast-turn system for moderating, analysis and reporting of group discussions and in-depth-interviews
  • Position will support internal product and marketing requests
  • Coordinate internal recruiting and scheduling of users and partner with external recruiting agencies as needed
  • Develop methods for understanding the motivations and needs of live-streaming performers and viewers
  • Assess user reactions to new product features
  • Translate findings into actionable insights and develop a template for regular weekly or bi-weekly qualitative testing as needed
  • Build relationships with marketing and product teams in oder to understand stakeholder needs
  • Work with UX and market research teams to enhance and supplement on-going research with outside agencies and vendors
  • Perform quality control on recruiting to ensure sample frame and respondent characteristics are appropriate for research questions
  • Develop written research reports and present the results of findings to key stakeholders
  • Manage outside vendors where necessary
  • Help build and maintain a world-class user research function

职务需求

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences or related field
  • At least three years experience in qualitative research at an agency or research vendor
  • Hands-on experience moderating FGDs and IDIs, designing qualitative techniques, and reporting of results
  • Familiarity with principles and mechanisms for recruiting qualified respondents for product and marketing projects
  • Experience with mobile entertainment platforms, and an interest in live-streaming
  • Understanding of the domain expertise of partner teams such as engineering, product, design and marketing
  • Experience in qualitative research for creation of customer journey maps, personas, ethnography, usability tests, concept evaluations, value
    proposition and message testing, etc.
  • Position requires a high tolerance for ambiguity, and working across a very diverse group of stakeholders
  • For Japan: Fluent in Japanese and working proficiency in English
  • For Taiwan: Fluent in Mandarin, and working proficiency in English
