We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to build a collaboration platform for creators.

As a UI/UX designer, your responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and copywriters and PM. You should be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

What you’ll do:

• Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters, and UX designers.
• Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design strategy and design system as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
• Closely collaborate with other team members and stakeholders not only to lead design-related discussions but also to proactively provide own perspectives and insights throughout the entire product design cycle, including the ideation/planning, development, and post-deployment stages.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experiences and proven track record.
  (Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview)
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript.
• Comfortable with design critiques from others and working at a fast pace with a lean design process under a tight schedule.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
• Professional with design details and able to clearly elaborate own design rationales behind your design ideas.
• Ability to independently work as a senior and lead your own tasks with ownership.
• Creative ideas with problem solving mindset.
• Most importantly: You have a positive, energetic, and collaborative work attitude with a self-starter approach to work!




Extra credit:

• Proficient with Figma
• Proficient in UX design principles including usability guidelines, psychology, design system, best practices, and the latest UX trends.
• Experience in building social media and/or e-commerce experience.
• Ability to build a design system with an understanding of React JS.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process at a startup (preferably consumer-facing) environment.
• Actual experience of DevOps practices and understandings of its principles.
• Strong communication abilities in written and verbal English.
