  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in sales/marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.
  • Experience in Sales within a technology, advertising, media sales, and/or internet environment.
  • Experience with Google Ads, YouTube account management, advertising management, and/or media campaigns.
  • Experience in Media across a variety of platforms (e.g., TV, Radio, Print, Sponsorship, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask and succeed in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As the Business Development Manager, you will act as the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) representative for agencies and customers. You will focus on growing long-term relationships with our agencies and customers to drive scalable product adoption and business growth. You will focus on empowering small- and medium-sized businesses with advertising solutions with the goal of driving business for our customers, our partners, and Google. In this role, you will work towards identifying and implementing solutions that suit the unique needs of our agency partners and GCS customers.

In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with account strategist’s to consistently deliver against quarterly goals on existing and new business, while prioritizing/delivering an excellent sales experience to agencies and customers.
  • Drive business growth, long-term agreements, business planning, and review/training .
  • Manage and grow customer relationships for key accounts managed by the agency.
  • Synchronize agency plans with internal cross-functional teams to grow the business.
  • Partner with agencies and customers to grow the business.
