Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience project managing and/or delivering technical solutions.
  • Experience with available, scalable applications, and distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with software languages (e.g., Java, Go, JavaScript, Python, etc.) and building/architecting DevOps pipelines and familiarity with associated tools.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of the software supply chain in an enterprise environment (e.g., software engineering, testing, CI/CD) and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in containerized environments.
  • Excellent communication, written, presentation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.

About the job

In this role, you will work directly with Google’s strategic customers on critical application development and modernization projects to help them transform their businesses. You will provide consulting, program management, and technical expertise to customers while working with client executives and key technical leaders to drive adoption of modern application patterns and paradigms via Google’s Cloud Platform.

You will also work closely with key Google partners currently servicing accounts to manage programs, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best practice expertise. You will also travel approximately 30% of the time for client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful, modern, cloud applications, becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
  • Work with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package approaches, best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
  • Interact with business, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
  • Advocate for customers needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience.
  • Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud native application development solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
