Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Regulatory Affairs Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for students majoring in pharmacy, biotechnology, or regulatory science who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the regulatory aspect of the pharmaceutical industry. The intern will support our regulatory affairs team in managing the product lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance, and enhancing our regulatory intelligence database. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand the intricacies of drug development processes and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Management Support: Assist in the preparation and review of documentation for TFDA (Taiwan Food and Drug Administration) submissions, including artwork checks and document preparation.
  • Regulatory Documentation: Support the regulatory department in maintaining an organized archive of regulatory files in the RA shared drive, ensuring easy access and compliance.
  • Regulatory Intelligence Database: Contribute to building and maintaining a database of TFDA regulatory intelligence, streamlining internal processes through the use of digital tools.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Keep track of competitor statuses in TFDA submissions and approvals, providing insights for strategic planning.
  • Learning and Development: Shadow experienced Regulatory Affairs (RA) personnel to learn about the drug development process, license registration, and the overall regulatory landscape.



Requirements

Need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree  (Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Regulatory Science, or a related field is preferred.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Good to have:

  • Demonstrated strong skills in database management.
  • Demonstrates a keen interest in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  • Shows initiative and eagerness to learn about the regulatory framework governing drug development and market approval processes.
  • Exhibits proficiency in digital tools and technologies for database management and process optimization.

This two-month internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory affairs function in the pharmaceutical industry. It offers the chance to gain practical experience that complements academic learning, providing a solid foundation for a career in regulatory affairs.
