As a Research Operations Intern, you will get involved in the process and management of collecting user input by directly working on regular user interviewsor research projects. During your internship, you will operate the end-to-end process for weekly user feedback sessions to to help the team speak to users regularly. You will get involved in planning and conducting user research by co-working with product managers and designers. You will translate user insights into actionable suggestionsthat impact the development of PicCollage and other new products. Your contribution will impact not only PicCollage’sactive 15 millionusers but also new users around the world as we build new products or services.

Responsibilities

• Assist participant recruitment for different research projects as a seamless experience for global users, including creating recruiting plan, posting ads, screening candidates, scheduling cross timezonesessions, coordinating incentive payments and documenting.
• Run weekly basis remoteuser interview process by providing logistical support in setting up sessions, contacting participants,coordinating with projectsand documenting.
• Organize, analyze and deliver user insights to product development process.
• Take on research operations projects to build up the research fundamentals with other members, and scale research work in the team.
• Participate in internal product testing sessions to establish product knowledge and help sprint teams to provide great quality updates to users.
• Help the search to hire the next intern at the end of the internship.




Requirements

• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Enjoy meeting and talking to people. Always curious and eager to understand human behavior.
• Committed, observant and proactive to take initiatives and solve problems.
• Excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in user research especially user interview and usability testing.
• Ability to interpret large amounts of user input, multi-task, and come up with results independently and collaboratively with other team members.
• Fast learner who can adopt research tools and cross-functional collaboration processes.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
• Experience and knowledge of statistics and experimental design.
• Understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, for example, when and how to apply them based on the project needs in the product development process.

After you submit your application, the next steps are two video interview calls (with some short written assignments), followed by an onsite interview.
