Autonomous mobile robot project, New Taipei City, Taiwan

As an AMR software engineer in the team, you will jointly design the navigation stack and implement it with team members. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define clear requirements, deliverables, and test cases in an exciting, highly innovative environment.

• BS/MS/Ph.D in Computer Science, electrical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, math, or other algorithmic-centric discipline or equivalent experience
• 2+ years or more of professional experience developing production commercial software in core C, C++ or other Object Oriented languages
• Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
• Experience with ROS
• Familiar robotic system architecture from hardware (e.g. Lidar, depth-camera) to software
• Experience implementing one or more of the following on real hardware: localization and mapping (SLAM); robot control and navigation (local trajectory planning and execution); object detection and tracking
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations
• Strong communication skills, ability to team work
