Job Description
Altigen Communications, a leader in UC communications platform products, is seeking talented, motivated people to become a part of the AltiGen community and contribute to our strategic success and expansion in the global marketplace. The best candidates will have strong object-oriented design skills, solid networking knowledge, and full SDLC experience.
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Responsibilities
-Lead projects, manage the team and provide technical guidance to Engineers
-Architect, design and development software for AltiGen's leading edge UC communications products
-Create Software Functional Specifications based on market requirements
-Manage existing product sustaining and interact with QA and Technical Support in an as needed basis
Requirements
Qualification
- 8+ years of software development experience among which 4+ years in Unified Communications, Networking or Telecommunication products
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
--- VoIP or Call processing
--- Networking protocols
--- Windows server applications
--- 3+ years in C++ programming experience
- Web development (C#, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX) is a plus
- It requires hands-on coding (important)
- Prior team lead or management experience is preferred
- Good English speaking and writing skills
- MS/BS CS/EE or related major
