關於在AWS工作的一天,會是什麼情形?
每天進公司後先泡一杯咖啡,與同事打聲招呼。坐在電腦前連上你專屬的AWS 控制台,開始著手處理手上的 Case。
當客戶提出一些你覺得有趣的問題時,你開始與坐在周圍的同事在白板上討論。經過來回交互討論後,你有了一些解決問題的方案或想法。同時先前聯絡的國外資深工程師也在這時候回覆你,並且提供了許多佐證文件,應證了你們的觀點。接下來你與客戶在電話中討論這個 Case,並且擬定一些後續的計畫來處理和解決客戶部署時所遭遇的困境,讓客戶的部署計畫得以繼續執行。
此時,先前安排好的 Training 已經開始,會議室目前已經坐滿了同事。這次課程裡的內容,是如何整合多種 AWS 平台的服務成為解決特定問題的 Solution,是由西雅圖來的資深工程師親自授課。在課堂後的自由提問中,你聽到許多你從未想過的應用場景,而這些想法都是由各地的同事互相討論出來的結果。
就在課程快結束前,你接到一個緊急的 Case,客戶的生產環境發生立即性的問題,受到影響而造成服務中斷。你利用有限的時間內調查並且定位問題點,發現這個問題需要聯繫開發團隊進行修正。隨即以最快的速度通知主管與開發團隊,並且提出你已復現的證據協助他們改善了服務。
吃飯時,你與同事聊到這個 Case,同事也覺得你處理的效率與流程準確性值得在下一次的定期技術分享中拿出來討論。飯後閒暇之餘,你開啟了內部的技術資料庫,開始你自己的進修計畫,並且在雲端資源最充沛的環境中,你持續的學習並且成長。最後,你將你手上需要特別關注的 Case 移交給在國外準備的同事,結束你在 AWS 裡Work/Life Balance 的一天。
