Requirements
Candidates for this role must have:
A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS, CE, or related field)
Understanding of the tools of the trade, including fluency in any of
modern programming languages (C/C++/Java).
Proven educational track record with sound data structure and algorithm knowledge
Good familiarity with computer architecture and network communication
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform)
Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages a plus
Experience with operating system design, system architecture analysis, and software/hardware interfacing
Experience in system level call tracing and profiling that leads to optimization in desired areas (size, performance, power consumption)
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
Previous technical internship(s) preferred
