Electrical Engineer / Sr. EE
Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Generate schematics, PCB layout (place & route), Bills of Materials, Manufacturing data
- Performance of electrical testing for initial board bring-up.
- Perform R&D testing, compile test data.
- Pre-compliance testing such as RF emissions (EMI) testing, ESD testing.
- Electrical support for the performance of design verification testing with emphasis on mechanical issues such as temperature testing, vibration, sound level, accelerated life tests.
- Assist with debugging of initial manufacturing issues.
Requirements
• BS degree in EE.
• 5+ years of experience generating schematics using common electrical CAD programs, preferably Altium.
• 5+ years of experience designing PCBs, executing part placement, routing traces, understanding electrical issues as related to PCBs and RF design.
• Understanding of mechanical issues as they apply to PCB design, enclosure design, mounting, etc.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Candidate must have good English communication skills to be considered.
• Prior experience with portable devices required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience executing compliance testing for electronic devices, such as UL, FCC, CE, ESD.
• Experience with Altium and/or OrCAD PCB design software.
