Operations Engineer

AMPOS is looking for Operations Engineers to support the deployment of a robust, scalable operational infrastructure that will enable AMPOS to quickly and efficiently scale up to meet the needs of our multi billion dollar market. There is no red-tape, political infighting or endless meetings here. We move fast and have fun. Your sole focus will be helping to get the ERM product to our customers quickly and efficiently with the best quality possible.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop automated scripts/tools to assist in customer solution deployment and validation
- Assist in developing and implementation of deployment plan.
- Validation of deployed instances as well as post new release validation
- Work with Dev and QA teams to deploy and troubleshoot the system applications.
- Develop deployment support documentations for customers.
- Work with the management to develop deployment specifications and configurations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Act as primary contact for deployment related inquiries and issues.

Required experience and skills:
- 3+ years of QA/Development experience
- 2+ years Java development experience
- Working experience with databases such as Oracle, Mysql or SQL Server
- Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues
- Knowledge of system level and integration level testing
- Strong quality assurance background
- Excellent understanding of the continuous integration practice
- Proficiency in specifying and implementing testing and production environment infrastructure
- Expertise with automated testing products, including how to set up automated testing, how to script automated tests, how to create automated regression test suites, and how to troubleshoot automated testing issues
- Understanding of the Release and Deployment Management processes
- Ability to work well with others on a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS based Enterprise Software
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Scripting experience in python or other scripting language
- Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence is an advantage
