The ARAB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TAIWAN offers an outstanding and substantive internship training program for the nation’s best and brightest young leaders.

At ACCT, you will obtain a hands-on, meaningful work experience designed to meet your academic and career goals. Our internships offer opportunities in Marketing, research, writing, social media management, webpage maintenance, communications, and events preparation. During the training, you will network with colleagues and senior-level executives while participating in educational and professional activities designed to enhance your practical experience.

We are currently accepting applications for the summer training programme 2022. This will be a hybrid training and will be conducted in Taipei and remotely.

This year, we collaborated with "This Month in Taiwan'', a long-standing tourism magazine, which is going to open a brand-new column to introduce Taiwan. At the same time, we will issue an online digital magazine: tourism magazine and business magazine to promote Taiwan’s international reputation in 22 Arab countries

The ( ARAB TAIWAN BUSINESS MAGAZINE ) is working on a project of interviewing 100 Taiwanese leaders , with the purpose of introducing Taiwanese enterprises to the global stage and succeed in developing the worldwide market. The influencers include local restaurant owners, hotel managers, company CEOs, enterprises’ founders, (diplomat ambassadors and representatives of foreign affairs). Having done the interviewing, promoting, and sharing, other local companies can be enlightened or inspired by their stories and eventually stimulate the economy in Taiwan.

Learning Experiences at ACCT?

• Making phone calls with and to different companies
• Arranging and holding meeting with various corporates from different industries
• Creating Video content for events, tutorials, social media, etc
• Creating Social media content
• Writing news articles for magazines
• Using SEO
• Conceptualizing new collaboration projects
• Conducting new collaboration projects
• Holding events for businessmen
• Interviewing local restaurant owners, hotel managers, company CEOs, enterprises’ founders, diplomat ambassadors and representatives of foreign affairs.
• Lead a team in a specific department

General requirements:

• You need to have high productivity and quality for your results.
• You should be able to commit to the internship for at least 6 months.
• Able to work 3 complete days(23 hours/week) during vacation and at least 15 hours per week during school period.
• Workdays: Monday-Friday
• English proficiency is a MUST
• Chinese proficiency is preferred
• Studying related subjects is preferred
• Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

• A recommendation letter from your professor is required to join this program

Journalist & Media Trainee Job Details:

• Interview 100 CEOs in Taiwan
• Write well-constructed articles based on reliable information
• Research materials and fact-checking data
• Proofreading the articles
• Pitch captivating story ideas to the audiences
• Keep records off all notes, interviews, and audio files
• Keep up-to-date on the latest news developments by attending events, studying different papers, opinion pieces, and social media
