With over 200 members and varied functions (including research, design & engineering), we need help to coordinate & communicate our collective efforts. This is the role of the Design Planning & Management Section.
As coordinators, our role is to plan and manage activities in the design center. Taking a macro perspective, we help define overall direction and tempo to help the teams work better together. As designers, we are problem solvers, however our focus tends to be more organization-scale, less project-scale. Our responsibilities include designing & running new processes to facilitate collaboration and deliver innovation.
As communicators, our role is to promote the design team’s value internally and externally. Internally, we are responsible for communicating the value of design generally with marketing and sales teams as we build up a more design driven, user-centric culture. Externally, we are responsible for communicating the value of the products we design with media, customers and others.
We are looking for candidates with a mixed background of design and business experience, a mature mindset and an outgoing attitude.
