Barco Taiwan Design Center (TDC) is the core R&D center for Enterprise division to build great user experience that makes our products difference for our customers and their people.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our Barco R&D Team in Taiwan to contribute to the development of the best-in-class wireless presentation and conferencing products – ClickShare for the meeting rooms solution that are used by thousands of customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in design and develop networking and wired/wireless (especially for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) features in the Clickshare products.
• Leadership on design and build system integration of Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module drivers, software packages, and BSP.
• Support the corresponding certifications in the project development.
• Participate in software design, implementation, and code review with the global development team across Taiwan, Belgium and Germany, and India.
• Advise and guide product wireless technologies strategy together with product architects and development team.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Master's degree in networking engineering, computer science, or equivalent by experience
• Preferably development experience in an international environment (wireless technologies)
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, Wi-Fi software framework, and utilities.
• Broad technical knowledge: from embedded devices
• Coding skills: C, C++, Python
• Experience with agile development process across international teams
• Well respected and influential, able to emphasize methodology, modeling, and governance, technologically neutral, persuasive, and enthusiastic
• Customer-centric mindset
