BE accelerator is a startup accelerator and venture builder. We back MedTech startups that are aiming to impact the next 10 years and beyond. We are currently looking for a Theme Coordinator to help startups to connect with ventures, investors, mentors, hospitals, government, organization and other medical/non-medical resources especially in the Asian, European and American markets. 

This position works closely with both BE health ventures and accelerator program to ensure that we build a strong connection and effective ecosystem with our partners. The ideal candidate is dynamic, charismatic, entrepreneurial and deeply connected to the startup culture with proven experience.

Responsibilities 

• Assist in developing, planning and executing programmatic activities, meetings, and events that build the relationship between BE, portfolios and other partners. 

• Follow-up on qualifying leads, and conduct research to improve selection quality 

• Support the validation and acceleration of ventures accepted into the BE Accelerator Programs, anticipate and respond to the needs of the ventures 

• Own the scheduling of experts, mentors, suppliers, entrepreneurs, and sponsor visits

• Ensure deadlines and responsibilities remain aligned

• Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, ecosystem partners, and the community 

Qualifications and Required Experience

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English

• Enthusiastic about startups and innovation.

• Leadership experience in communications and self-motivation

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to represent BE at a high level with startups, partners, and the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and deliver accurate and timely materials

• Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program

• Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals and startups

• Keen to constantly pivot and evolve to find innovative ways to resolve problems • University degree required, MBA preferred
