Role Summary

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work with a cross-functional agile team for delivering a large-scale worldwide logistic and fintech platform. You will help the team understand, prioritize and define initiatives and road maps. You will be an expert as it relates to microservices and DevOps practices at BlueX.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing high-quality and feature-complete API-driven cross-region logistic and fintech solutions.
• Develop with the best DevOps practice and container ecosystems.
• Leverage cloud-native architectures with new and existing applications.
• Automating the lifecycle of the infrastructure, the applications running on top of it, and CI.
• Leverage open technology such as Golang, Docker, Javascript, Ruby, Python, Git, Jenkins, Linux, HAProxy, AWS Cloud, ELK, Java, Kafka, PostgresSQL, and plenty of others.

Qualifications

• Experience building micro-services and API centric solutions.
• Experience with micro-services related stacks such as gRPC, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernates.
• Experience with testing using TDD or BDD with 1 or more testing frameworks.
• Excellent in at least one computer languages such as Golang, Java, C/C++, Scala, Haskell
• Good at some other computer languages such as Python, Ruby, Javascript, Shell script, Swift, Kotlin.
• Experience with defining and creating methodologies, service offerings.
• Knowledge of continuous integration via tools like Jenkins.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
